Cookie Making

This weekend we decided to tackle the task of making some Christmas cookies. This was the first year that Bailey would really have the chance to help cut them out, frost, and decorate them with sprinkles. I was amazed not only with how excited she was, but how long she stayed involved. She sat and was actively involved as we cut out every single cookie and lasted through decorating at least half of what we made. Of course her favorite part was testing them out...but who doesn't love being a cookie tester!?!?

Countdown to Christmas

I realize it has been 3 months since my last post. I will give all of my excuses in a later post, but I wanted to get some pics up because we had a weekend filled with Christmas fun! Bailey is loving everything about the holiday season thus far. She was super excited when Ga & Papa put up the lights on their house (and Papa even bought a special inflatable Santa this year, just for the grandkids), loved seeing the Christmas tree up and helping Ga decorate it with flowers, and she absolutely adores the Baby Jesus in Ga's manger. All in all, this is going to be one magical Christmas!
