Leggo My Eggo

Today for breakfast, Bailey had her first Eggo waffle experience. She definitely enjoyed them...and not just how they tasted, but the fun she had playing peek-a-boo with them too!

First Pony

When I dropped off Bailey at daycare last week, the daycare dog had gotten a hair cut. By both of her ears were two bows so it looked like she had pigtails! Bailey commented on them all morning so Fran finally asked if she wanted one. Surprisingly, Bailey sat perfectly still as Fran gathered up a few of B's fine hairs and put them into her first ponytail! She left it in all day long....never even tried to pull it out. Bailey in Action!

Our little girl is constantly on the go. I can't even get her to sit still to take a "good" picture. Besides climbing on the furniture, her toys, and anything that gets in her way, she also loves to jump and bounce. And yes, she has started to run.

Here are some things we do on a daily basis:

Coloring - this can keep her entertained for a good half hour.

Something that you can't really catch on picture would be Bailey counting. She can count from one to six, although at times she does forget a few numbers. Most of the time it comes out as, "One, two five!"

She also loves any song with actions. Some of Bailey's favorites are "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "If You're Happy and You Know It", and Gram just taught her "This Little Light of Mine". The ABC song is our newest favorite. She knows when to say "t" and "y".

This is such a fun stage, although we definitely have our fair share of tears and tantrums. Some of them can carry on and on, but eventually, our happy, smiley Bailey reappears!
