Just for Fun
Since I've been so bad at posting, I thought I would just put up a few new pictures that I've taken of Bailey.
Making a Bailey "roll-up". One of her newest games where she grabs onto her quilt and literally rolls herself up in it!

Holding her own bottle for the first time!
In her new fleece bunting....ready for the spring weather and chilly summer nights.

This is a picture of Bailey on her first walk with mommy, and the second
was taken today before our first walk this spring!!

Playing with daddy. I don't know who's more smitten
- Bailey or daddy????
Napping in mommy and daddy's bed - first time EVER! (do you think we were a little paranoid??)

First Solid Foods
6 Months Old
So I started to write this post about 2 weeks ago when Bailey turned 6 months old and I didn't get much done. So now I'm finally making myself get something posted since it's been almost a month since our last post. Man, time just flies and life goes by so quickly. I just don't seem to find the time lately.
Here are some highlights of Bailey at 6 months:
*rolls over both ways
*LOVES to sleep on her tummy (we lay her down on her back and she almost instantly rolls to her tummy)
*eating two meals a day consisting of cereal, fruits, and veggies
*recognizes the signs for "eat", "milk", "more" and "all done"
*sitting all by herself like a pro
*participated in the JDRF walk
*says "da da da da da"
*loves playing with her fish and fishbowl
*blows "raspberries"
*moves all over the floor by rolling and turning on her tummy
I'm sure there's more I can add, but I don't want to mix up things from 6 months and 7 months! Bailey brings so much joy to our lives. It's so easy to forget about cleaning the house, making dinner, grocery shopping, etc. because it is so much fun to spend as much time as we can with her! The day just doesn't have enough hours in it for us to do all that we would like to do.
It's hard to believe that Bailey has already blessed our lives for 6 months. I can only imagine how fast the rest of this first year will go by. I just hope we are able to take time to savor every last minute of our sweet little girl.
