Hoppy Easter

For the past two months or so, our weekends have been crazy with work, travel, school, baseball, etc. So we thought we would just hunker down and have a nice, relaxed, laid back Easter at home. My parents came up to join us as well as Andy's old boss with his wife and daughter (they were in town for a few days). We got the grill out for the first time this season and had yummy steaks! It was delicious.Bailey really enjoyed Easter this year. As soon as she woke up, we took her downstairs and without any prompting, she went straight to her Easter basket to pull out all of her goodies. Her favorite was the harmonica (a last minute purchase that we knew she'd love!). Then we went to church with my parents.Ever since my nephew, Jake, was born, it's become a tradition to have an Easter egg hunt by Gram! She get all the eggs stuffed and put together, hidden and then the kids go on a mad hunt! This year, Bailey was the only kid, but she really enjoyed the eggs. Her basket was overflowing and she still wanted to find more!Gram and Papa also brought a surprise gift for B.....a water and sand table!!!! Bailey loves to play in the sink at their house, so it was the perfect gift. I'm sure it'll be a favorite this summer!

Baseball in Iowa

This is the second year that Bailey and I were able to travel down to Iowa with Andy for a Blizzard baseball tournament. We were really fortunate with beautiful weather last year -- unfortunately we weren't so lucky in the weather area this year. Fortunately we had a massive two room suite at our hotel, so Bailey and I were able to keep busy while Andy was out in the cold, wind, and rain coaching.

The boys played their hearts out and earned themselves second place in the tourney. Bailey and I did make it to a few games when the sun was actually shining. She loved watching her daddy on the third base line, playing with rocks, watching the "tractors" drag the ball fields, and running around chasing baseballs.

Here are a few snapshots of our weekend:

This was probably the highlight of her weekend. The team
